​1964 Ashley 1172

​This Ashley 1172 was on an old Ashley car Registration list
that I had been given many years ago, there was no indication of it being
Ford based but it could be with presumably the chassis, running gear, engine, gearbox and other parts being used.

​
​Checking with the DVLA and it appears not to have been transferred
​onto their electronic Database back
in the late 1970's.

However in  May 2021 it's Registration Number was reissued
onto an new car, this time being a

The Ashley's motor vehicle registration indicates that it was
​originally issued
in between May & June 1964 by the
Kent County Council

​
​The entry on the listing gives no indication as to the Body Colour
but it does refer to the Ashley being seen in 1970 at Brands Hatch
However there is no indication to the builder or any owners at any time.

So if you have built it, owned it or have any
other information about this
